We get one story, you and I, and one story alone.
God has established the elements, the setting, the climax and the resolution.
It would be a crime not to venture out, wouldn't it?

Shrouded Moon

I am sitting on a porch in Blaine, MN, typing as the clock ticks.

There's a shrouded moon above, unsure whether it wants to nap behind a loaf of clouds or whether it should keep shining that toothy grin of his.

Only 1 hour 20ish minutes till we head to the airport (we're leaving at 2:00am to get there in time for our 6:00am flight). Before now, the Chinese mission, the Far Eastern adventure was simply a distant thought; but now it is for real. I feel ready ... thanks to Him.

Well, my friends the next post will be from my Beijing apartment. It's crazy to think that just a blink ago I was reading Horton Hears a Who in first grade, now I am on that springboard of adulthood, 1 hour and 16 minutes away from assuming flight.

His power, His peace, His love.

  1. We yarp you and your cohorts have made it safe and relatively sound to Beijing. May your "YOPP" be heard loud and clear!
