I am not a Camel Cowboy yet, but will be soon.
For the October Holiday, I and eight friends will be piling into a van and driving 750 miles in 15 hours to the western city of Yinchuan. Ted not only has his Beijing driver's lisence, but has rented a van for this voyage, this grand adventure. Even though every time he shifts is like a birthing contraction (I don't speak from experience, but the target of that analogy was mothers. I love you Mom!), but just because the Ted-man drives like Chris Farely acts, there is no reason to fret my loved ones. We are in good hands.
When we arrive we will mount camels and ride into the Gobi Desert. We are going to become camel cowboys for three days as we ride, camp, and soak in the blue skies and serenity of it all.
Episode II is coming upon my return...
Have fun! Can't wait to hear all about it!
