Rahl

Rahl is in the middle.

Last year I had a freshman student named Rahl.

 He wasn't not my favorite. I know teachers aren't supposed to have favorites, but all teachers do. Rahl was my favorite.

Here is an email he sent me last week.

Micah I miss you！ I was admitted to The Affiliated high schol of peking university！my now life is unparalleled.you know there are lots of my old friends.But here's American teachers is't friends as you!!!He taught us to performances. Today I found the video <FOREVER YOUNG>! I watched it twice.Then I cried.Maybe I Impossible to meet good teacher as you and miss balge.you not only is my teacher,You my friend.So i want to talk with you.How about your Chinese level?Someone said you  livng in Beijing and learn Chinese.Right? Moments like this seem to come when we need them most. It's hard not to feel lonely at the dawn of December - no smell of Christmas tree in the living room, no Bing Crosby on the radio, you just missed another Thanksgiving. But Abba knows when our tanks are almost empty and gives us the little boost we need.
