We get one story, you and I, and one story alone.
God has established the elements, the setting, the climax and the resolution.
It would be a crime not to venture out, wouldn't it?

Dinner at Wangwang's

This is Wangwang's house.

It's about six feet wide and twelve feet deep. His kitchen is a hotplate. His bed functions as chair and bookshelf.

Wangwang is a friend in our community and invited Jacob and I over for dinner a few nights ago. I was humbled by his generosity and his humble abode.

After having dinner at Wangwang's, I don't think I'll ever complain about a living situation ever again. This minimalist lifestyle makes our American homes look like unnecessary monstrosities.

It's little lessons like these - taught without a whiteboard or lesson plan by teachers who don't know that they are teaching, which are tattooed in my mind forever.

Jacob in back and Wangwang in front with cell phone in hand.
